Tournament Rules

1. General Rules

1.1 These rules govern all League of Legends tournaments hosted by the Organizer.
1.2 By participating, all players agree to comply fully with these rules.
1.3 The Organizer may modify rules at any time to ensure fair play and competitive integrity.
1.4 This tournament is not affiliated with Riot Games.

2. Player Eligibility

2.1 Players must be at least 18 years old.
2.2 A valid League of Legends account (EUW/EUNE or region specified by the Organizer) is required.
2.3 Account sharing is strictly prohibited.
2.4 All players must compete on their own hardware unless otherwise stated.
2.5 Players must be free of active bans, suspensions, or competitive restrictions.

3. Match Format

3.1 Standard matches follow:

• 5v5
• Summoner’s Rift
• Tournament Draft Mode
• Best of 1 (daily events) or Best of 3 (featured matches)

3.2 Side selection

• Higher-seeded team or randomly chosen team selects Blue/Red for BO1.
• In BO3:
  • Game 1: coin toss winner chooses side
  • Game 2: loser of previous game chooses
  • Game 3: loser of Game 2 chooses

4. Draft Rules (Pick/Ban)

4.1 Draft follows official Riot competitive rules:

• Ban Phase 1: 3 bans per team
• Pick Phase 1: 3 picks per team
• Ban Phase 2: 2 bans per team
• Pick Phase 2: 2 picks per team

4.2 No champion is banned unless disabled in the current live patch.
4.3 Players must lock in the role & champion they intend to play.
4.4 Intentional dodging or manipulating draft is forbidden.

5. Game Settings

5.1 Provided lobby settings must be followed:

• Map: Summoner’s Rift
• Mode: Tournament Draft
• Spectators: organizer/staff only
• Pause: allowed under rule 7

5.2 Players must use the current official patch used on live servers.

6. Allowed & Forbidden Playstyles

✔ Allowed:

• Level 1 invades
• Proxy farming
• Split pushing
• Lane swaps
• Objective trading
• “Cheese” strategies (e.g., lvl 2 gank, off-meta picks) 

❌ Forbidden: 

• Intentional feeding
• Griefing or refusing to play with team
• Repeated AFK behavior
• Buying/selling items repeatedly to abuse stat refresh
• Abuse of known bugs or unintended mechanics
• Stream sniping
• Using third-party scripts or macro tools

7. Pauses & Technical Issues

7.1 Each team may pause only in case of:

• Hardware malfunction
• Internet disconnection
• In-game bug significantly affecting play

7.2 Maximum pause time: 10 minutes per team per match.

7.3 Players must clearly communicate pause reason in chat.

7.4 Unapproved pauses result in penalties.

8. Win Conditions

8.1 A team wins by:

• Destroying the enemy Nexus, or
• Opponent surrender (via the in-game surrender system), or
• Technical forfeit by the Organizer

8.2 Replay or remake occurs only if: 

• The game is paused before 3 minutes 
• No first blood or major objective taken 
• A verified technical problem occurs

9. Behavior & Conduct

9.1 Players must behave respectfully toward opponents and staff.

9.2 The following are strictly forbidden:

• Flaming, insults, harassment
• Racism, sexism, discrimination
• Excessive spam in chat
• Any form of toxicity

9.3 Violations may result in immediate disqualification.

10. Reporting

10.1 Match results are recorded by tournament administrators.

10.2 Screenshots may be required if needed for dispute resolution.

11. Penalties Penalties include:

• Warning
• Side selection loss
• Game loss
• Match forfeiture
• Disqualification
• Permanent ban from tournaments

Severity depends on violation type and organizer judgment. 

12. Streaming Rules

12.1 Official matches may be broadcast only by the Organizer unless explicitly permitted.

13. Acceptance of Rules

By competing in any League of Legends event, players acknowledge and accept all rules listed above.
